These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Happy Happy’s DebtLah App (the “App”, “Service”). By registering, purchasing access, logging in, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.


1) Definitions

  • “Account” means your registered login used to access the App.
  • “Content” includes information you enter (debts, income, due dates, credit card statement amounts, payment status).
  • “One-time access” means a one-off payment for continued use of the App, subject to these Terms.
  • “You” / “User” means the person accessing or using the App.

2) Eligibility

You confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally capable of forming a contract; and
  2. You will use the App for lawful purposes only.

If you use the App on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.


3) Nature of the Service (Important)

The App is a personal debt tracking and organisation tool only.

  • We do not provide financial advice, credit counselling, debt settlement services, legal advice, or regulated financial services.
  • The App does not communicate with banks, credit bureaus, or government systems.
  • Any totals, reminders, “past due” labels, or summaries are based only on the data you enter.

You are responsible for verifying all amounts, due dates, and payment status.


4) Account Registration & Security

4.1 Registration
To use paid features, you must create an Account with a valid email address and any required details.

4.2 Account security
You are responsible for:

  • keeping your password confidential;
  • restricting access to your device;
  • all activity under your Account.

4.3 Unauthorised access
If you suspect unauthorised use of your Account, contact us immediately at happy2sg.com@gmail.com.


5) One-Time Payment, Pricing & Access

5.1 Price
The App is offered at a one-time access price displayed on the website (e.g., SG$11.90, unless changed).

5.2 What “one-time access” means

  • One-time access allows you to use the App for as long as we continue operating the Service.
  • One-time access does not mean a guarantee of lifetime availability or uninterrupted service (see Section 13).

5.3 Price changes
We may change prices for future users. Your prior purchase remains valid for your Account under these Terms.


6) No Refund Policy (Digital Access) — Please Read

Because this is a digital product / digital access, and access is granted immediately after purchase:

  • All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by Singapore law or in exceptional cases at our sole discretion.

Exceptional cases (examples only, not guaranteed) may include:

  • duplicate payment for the same Account;
  • a verified billing error;
  • technical failure that prevents access and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time.

If you believe you have a valid refund issue, email happy2sg.com@gmail.com with:

  • your registered email,
  • payment proof/transaction reference, and
  • a clear explanation.

7) User Data, Accuracy & Your Responsibilities

7.1 You control your data
You are responsible for all information you enter and maintain in the App.

7.2 Accuracy
You agree to:

  • enter accurate debt details (bank, amount, due day, start month);
  • update changes promptly;
  • verify totals and schedules.

7.3 Credit cards (Correct method)
The App treats credit cards differently:

  • you enter the statement amount each month;
  • the App may restrict marking “Paid” until a statement amount is set (to protect accuracy).

7.4 No bank integration
We do not fetch or confirm balances from banks. Your results depend on your inputs.


8) Acceptable Use (Prohibited Conduct)

You agree not to:

  • use the App for illegal activities;
  • attempt to hack, reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit vulnerabilities;
  • upload viruses or malicious code;
  • disrupt or overload the Service;
  • create multiple accounts to abuse pricing or access rules;
  • share login credentials publicly, sell access, or resell the Service without permission.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate Accounts that breach these rules.


9) Intellectual Property

9.1 Our IP
The App, design, code, text, branding (“Happy Happy”, “DebtLah App”), and all related materials are owned by or licensed to Happy2sg.

9.2 Your licence to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal tracking purposes, subject to these Terms.

9.3 No copying/resale
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell the App or any part of it without written permission.


10) Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the App, you acknowledge you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.


11) Service Updates & Changes

We may:

  • add, remove, or modify features;
  • change the UI/UX;
  • fix bugs or improve performance;
  • update security measures;
  • change how certain calculations or schedules work.

We aim to maintain core functionality, but features may evolve.


12) Suspension & Termination

12.1 By you
You may stop using the App anytime. You can request account deletion (subject to privacy/legal retention needs).

12.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • there is suspected fraud or misuse;
  • we must do so for legal/security reasons.

Where reasonable, we may provide notice, but we are not obligated to do so in urgent situations.


13) Availability, Maintenance & No Guarantee

13.1 No guaranteed uptime
We aim for reliable service, but the App may be unavailable due to:

  • maintenance, upgrades, hosting issues;
  • network failures;
  • force majeure events;
  • security incidents.

13.2 Best efforts
We will make reasonable efforts to restore access and fix issues.


14) Disclaimers (Important)

14.1 “As is” basis
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

14.2 No warranties
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties including:

  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • accuracy of calculations;
  • uninterrupted or error-free service.

14.3 Not professional advice
The App is not a substitute for financial advice. For regulated advice, consult a qualified professional.


15) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, missed payments, penalties, or interest charges) arising from use of the App.
  • Our total liability (if any) will be limited to the amount you paid for the App (e.g., SG$11.90), unless law requires otherwise.

You remain responsible for making payments to lenders on time.


16) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of the App;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your violation of any law or third-party rights.

17) Third-Party Services & Links

The App may include links to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.


18) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

If a dispute arises:

  1. You agree to contact us first to try to resolve it informally via happy2sg.com@gmail.com.
  2. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the courts of Singapore, unless otherwise required by law.

19) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may:

  • update the “Effective date”, and/or
  • provide notice in the App or via email.

Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
